At Present working on DVB-H of ETSI EN300 744 standard.Design of Coarse FFT timing,Integer and fractional frequency offset correction,tracking of carrier and ADC sampling
clock offset,fine FFT frame boundary location and channel estimation have been done.Simulations were done using mobile channel Typical Urban TU model.The Viterbi decoder and Reedsolomon decoder are yet to be implemented.


I have done Master Degree in Communication with over EIGHT years experience in embedded software development and Digital Signal Processing domain.I have worked with reputed telecom companies like 3Com and Analog Devices from 1998-2001 in the United States.


Projects

DSP Based Speech Scrambler:Works in transform domain.Algorithm implemented in Analog Devices ADSP21xx Assembly and MATLAB.The tasks are timing synchronization,frequency offset correction,channel eualization etc.Figure 2 gives Channel Frequency response.Figure 3 gives equalizer response.

Speech samples of the scrambled and descrambled speech signals are available on request.



Interface to Audio/Video Security System:Team leader worked in firmware and hardware.Implemented ISO procedures related to quality.The tasks involved were getting 'System Requirement Specifications (SRS)' by interaction with customer,preparing design documents,coding,preparation of test cases,team management etc.Involved only in Micro Contoller Interfaces (Not in DSP part).


V.34 and V.22bis Modem software:Customized V.22 bis by reducing hand shake duration.For V.34 have got over all standard knowledge and in particular Echo Cancellation and adaptive Equalizer part.


ADSL Modem firmware:Echo canceller Algorithm




Wireless:Kalman based Channel Estimation and MAP based symbol detection for TU50 channel for GSM.Co-Channel interference cancellation for TDMA.Comparison of Joint Viterbi with Sub optimal MAP algorithms.Figure 1 gives MMSE plot for Channel Estimation Error using Kalman Algorithm.Figure 4 gives BER results for the same.


Blind frequency offset estimation for OFDM


Tools:MATLAB(including Communication and Signal Processing Tool Boxes) ,Assembler of ADSP 21xx,TI320C5x DSP processors.


Algorithms:FFT, LMS ,RLS ,Kalman ,MAP




Carrier goal: To start a wireless software company in physical layer design.To implement,code test DSP algorithms in a fraction of the cost to be spent in US/Europe
